Facts about PILGRIM Jewellery:

PILGRIM is a Danish brand producing fashion jewellery and accessories.

PILGRIM products reflect broad fashion trends with a difference. PILGRIM's designs always stand out from the crowd. Often the difference comes from daring the unexpected like using materials and colours in new and original combinations

PILGRIM jewellery is primarily made of tin or zinc alloyed with copper, and then plated with either enamel, 16 carat gold or sterling sliver. The stones we use include CRYSTALLIZED (tm) Swarovski Elements, semi-precious stones and glass. We also use natural and freshwater pearls. All our jewellery is 100% nickel-free and each item is individually hand-made.

The two Danes Annemette Markvad and Thomas Adamsen established PILGRIM Jewellery in 1983. They spent the first years travelling around Denmark selling jewellery in the streets and at rock festivals. Some jewellery items were produced in their small apartment in Skanderborg and they were always quick to turn a good idea into reality. They swiftly began exhibiting their wares at trade fairs in Denmark and later on family and friends became involved with the business.

A few years later Annemette, Thomas and the now expanding business moved to larger premises – the basement of a large, old house. In 2003 they moved again into the present HQ in Skanderborg Denmark.

Today approx 70 people are based in the headquarter in Skanderborg and their designs within jewellery, watches and sunglasses are represented at more than 4000 retailers and 50 concept stores around the world.

Behind the PILGRIM Jewellery brand is a group of creative and highly socially committed people whose focus is on being outstanding and faithful to what they stand for. This is, among others, manifested in how they behave and treat each other and their partners and in their dedication to Doctors without Borders. Since 2003 PILGRIM has supported the humanitarian organisation, by yearly design and produce one or more special MSF products, sold to benefit MSF.

They also aim at making their customers special and stand out from the crowd with that little extra touch that their PILGRIM design offers. And with the introduction of their Charms concept and their Create it concept, it is now possible to create a complete item just for you. It’s never been easier to be outstanding.
